Hey Gent’s,

Figured I would share this with you. Here’s a wonderfully preserved archival photograph of an early Triumph prototype, being pushed to the limit on the track.

That young lady's an excellent driver too - anticipating the next turn well in advance. Superb!

I see that was the "dual steering" Triumph prototype - Invented for fathers taking their teenagers out on their first driving lesson.

I didn't know that was an actual car in the Escalade commercial. I thought it was some sort of kit car.....the gigantic 70's Volkswagen Beetle turn signal on top of the fenders made me think this.

From the original magazine road test:

"Handling is superb; corners as if on rails."

Thanks David,

Yes, at three her contemporaries consider her to be at least as good as Schumacher (Ralf not Michael).

She’s a lot of fun as my co-pilot/navigator in my 78B. But truth be told she’s real pain in the rear as a backseat driver. Pointing out both mine and her mother’s short comings as we’re driving down the road.

"Daddy you can go now the light is green. Or daddy slow down or I’ll tell mommy!"
