Karl, I raced at Westwood, the SCCBC track at Coquitland in the 70's and 80's. Of the handful of tracks I've raced or driven on, it was my favorite - now a housing development and golf course. Mission has a similar layout except for a second hairpin. With an associated drag strip, there might not be a lot of elevation change, though Seattle has about 90' and Sonoma has 160', both with drag strips. I would look at who is going to sanction the event and what do their typical races look like in terms of variety and turn out. Racing north of the border was always a treat for the SCCA Pacific Northwest group plus it drew some cars out of CA. I didn't see a vintage event on their current schedule. Come join us in April and May for the Mitty at Road Atlanta or the Barber Historics in Birmingham.
Have fun, the vintage race scene is growing!
