I needed headlight bulbs for my daily driver so I checked prices on Rockauto and Amazon. The bulbs are 9007LL (Long Life). On Amazon they were $25 EACH on Rockauto they were $3.25 EACH.
Yes, I did check and they were the same part number, from the same manufacturer. I ended up ordering two bulbs from Rockauto including delivery for $9.16.
What's up with that?

Amazon has to pay for all that free shipping somehow??

Always pays to shop around. Amazon hosts a lot of third party vendors who set their own prices. Sometimes Amazon has the best prices, sometimes not.

Got a set of Monroe "Quick-Struts" from RockAuto for 'mits' jellybean Toyota last month, $250 and an hour of my time on a Sunday morning. GREAT deal compared to a dealership or shop expense.
