Windscreen Packing Strips

Where do the two windscreen packing strips go when you install a screen on an "A"? I can't figure out where to place them.

The packing blocks? Between frame and body, against the pillar seals. I will have an online version of the Moss article with tons of photos uploaded soon. All will be clear.
