Didn't Lois Lane drive one like this in the old TV "Superman" series?

Yeehaa! Nash Rambler Landau!

Note the single unit round "unigauge" above the steering wheel, the fancy schmancy radio in the console, the L-head six, the WeatherEye heating/ventilating system, the dual tone horns (and I do mean HORNS!), the curved glass windscreen, the fully covered wheel wells.

And yep - Lois Lane (Noel Neill) drove a Rambler Landau in that great old TV series. Affordable, practical car for a young city journalist.

Hmmm - looks a bit like mine ... hmmmm

I'd forgotten he drove the N-H. But then, I was more interested in his ~other~ mode of transport... :smirk:

Just caught this; isn't that Phyllis Coates, the first Lois Lane in the series?

Wow - good eyes! Sure does look like Phyllis Coates, who played Lois Lane in the first year of the Superman TV series. Noel Neill replaced Phyllis when Phyllis took a role in another show (Death Valley Days?, The Lone Ranger?).

And I *think* Jimmy Olsen drove a Metropolitan.
