For all those who think it is not necessary to use a wood block between the jack pad and the car...think otherwise. I just spent over 20 work hours with a hammer/dolly/and filler fixing hundreds of little dents in the front of the TR2 frame. These were not scrapes, so could only have been caused by jacking.
These frames are only constructed of 16 gage steel. That's about 1/2 the thickness of an F150 frame. So, those who are jacking on your frame without a block or some kind'a pad...you are damaging your frame.
Sorry...just venting 20 hours of frustration at DPO's! Over.
