Now when I log into LBC forum instead of getting the 'Front Page' which has been my entry point for quite a while now I get a different page which just has the different forum areas all listed down the left hand side of the page. I don't remember getting any notices about forum changes.

Have not seen that.
However, Your favorites- log in page should show " British Car Forum-Powered"

When you get the correct forum page put it in your favorites.

Vette, I know what you mean. If I open my browser and type in britishcarforum.com, it takes me to the page you are seeing. That is a new development that I hadn't seen before. But, if I open my browser and click on the list of frequent sites that pops up, it takes me directly to the Austin-Healey forum.

Yeah...looks like Java is turned off. My background is blue, so this is blue, all down the side like a college outline.
Look at the URL you are using in your bookmarks or favourites.
Most likely the page we get is https:
https://www.britishcarforum.com/bcf/content.php
and there might be the issue for some browsers/AV/Security systems.
I don't even see an easy way to get OUT of it.
Type this into your address bar:
https://www.britishcarforum.com/bcf/forum.php
then bookmark that page and delete the old one.
Just a thought.

Thank again for the confirmation. It seems something has corrupted the pathway from my favorites list.

OH!!
Sometimes and add on " Google Tool Bar" will corrupt some sites a bit.

Yeah...ya think google will corrupt things?

I refuse any google toolbar, maps, chrome, none of it..so if I can see it, I suppose something glitched on somebodies end.
Avast! had an update a couple of months ago that added (for free!) their formerly paid-for "safe browser" that messed everything up....regular browsers could not see a security certificate through it and blocked everything.

That was our last update with Avast!.

Everybody tries to be "cute"......and we on the end of the chain get to fix it.
