Well here it is, I decided to carpet the entire interior instead of purchasing the side panels.

Looks really great! I have done that, it works/looks fine! Did you put it all up in one piece or did you cut carpet "side-panels" (I did and had them edged at a local carpet place)? I attached them with a push-snap in each corner...under-lap the floor strips at the edges and Bob's your uncle!

Mike:
I cut two pieces for the side. One single piece across the bottom and a basically cut a rectangle 21" x 13" piece and custom fitted with a blade cut to match the seams and down angle in the front area. I used a 3M adhesive spray. The door seal also fits over the edge and help hold in place. On the box area in front of the gear shift I used black carpet screws and black washers.

Harder than I thought to get in there and show them well, but I hope these help! These are 3 piece snaps at each corner of the carpet. They were purchased from a marine store. Two pieces through the carpet, chrome button (pile side)has a shank that works like a rivet to the snap side on the back of the carpet, and the panel attachment is screwed to the panel! I preferred this way rather than gluing since they can be easily removed for cleaning etc.!

I thought I'd put both patterns in one place so it could be easier for those who want to use them. On the side cuts you may want to go a 1/2 inch longer so that there is room for error. You can cut out the extra material with an exacto knife. I suggest tucking the carpet under the door seal where applicable.
