TR2/3/3A Castrol 20/50 Motorcycle Oil for TR3?

I've heard that Castrol motorcycle oil still has the Zinc in it that is missing in the automobile Castrol 20/50 so that it would be suitable for the motors in our cars. Anyone else heard this?

I've heard that oils marketed for MC's usually has more zinc. I know that Valvoline's VR1 does have more (although not marketed as a bike oil) and you can always just use your usual choice of oil and just add some Lucas Engine Break-in to pump up the zinc content.

I wouldn't recommend motorcycle oil without more research, most bikes have a wet clutch and the oil is formulated for that configuration. I know auto oil is not for use in motorcycles, the clutches will start to slip. Just my two cents, probably not worth experimenting since the ZDDP additives and oils are fairly easy to find at least online.

I use the diesel oils like Rotella T found in most stores for the TR2 and an older 1988 BMW inline 6. Here is some info I just found....
