Britsh Cars Featured on My Classic Car

Today's episode of My Classic Car features British Car Days on Prince Edward Island.

This was on the SPEED channel in my area at 9:30am ET.

According to the SPEED webpage it will be replayed again at 3:00am ET tomorrow (Monday) morning, & again at 3:00pm ET on Tuesday 11/25.

I didn't catch the 1st 5 or 10 minutes, but in the later half they did show a Lotus Elan, a nice Austin Morris, an early Sunbeam, a Morgan, a TR3, & at the end he drove off in a nice Big Healey. Sitting right next to the Morris was a nice looking BugEya Sprite, but I guess it wasn't unique enough to make the show...

I caught the tail end of this and immediately Tivo'd it. I noticed the TR3A at the end... pretty nice.

Also... on HD-Theater (Discovery HD) there was a 2-hour documentary on Mille Miglia, the Italian road race that's been going on since the 20s. Lots of very nice footage of some very old cars being driven 1000 miles...

I lived in the Maritimes until just a few years ago and always went to the show in the Island. Great show, great people, and the best lbc roads around. The entire island is rolling hills through farm land or next to the ocean. Man, I've just made myself homesick.
