TR5/TR250 Brake bleeding….what am I doing wrong?

In bleeding the brakes on my 250 I make sure the PDWA cylinder is centered then I bleed the right rear, left rear, right front and then the cylinder pops to the side and I can't continue the process. What am I doing wrong??

You may be pushing the brake pedal down too fast
Also be aware of the 2 compartments in the reservoir..The small one in the front is for the rear brakes and it doesn't take that many pumps to empty it..
Once empty, the shuttle within the PDWA may react to the lack of fluid pressure in the rear brake lines.

Also, having the PDWA shuttle to one side should NOT keep you from bleeding the brakes. It doesn't shut off the flow, just operates the switch. (Hence the "Warning Actuator" part of the name.)

My experience is that the PDWA shuttle piston has to be recentered every time I bleed the brakes as the reduced pressure will cause it to move in the bore of the PDWA body. I have never had an out of center position PDWA piston prevent me from successfully bleeding the brakes. While I have always done the book method of recentering the piston with minimal problem, I know that some have pulled the PDWA switch out and used a small punch or heavy pick to catch the shuttle piston and manually recenter it in the PDWA.
