Re: BJ7 convertible top boot cover- snap orientati
Hi Robert,
I may be able to help you out but not sure exactly what you are looking for. Are you looking for a photo of the boot cover (general placement)? Measurements between snaps? or location of the snaps on the shroud, interior panels and rear seat back?
Re: BJ7 convertible top boot cover- snap orientati
Robert,
I'm not sure if the following will help you much. I took some dimensions of the boot cover but most of the dimensions vary depending on how you arrange the vinyl and how tight it is stretched. I also took a few dimensions of the interior panels Tenax studs that the cover attaches too. The two middle tenax snaps (16" dimension) attach to the top of the rear seat back (squab). The exterior tenax's studs (31.75" and 28") are on the rear shroud. Do you have holes in your shroud for the placement of those?
Re: BJ7 convertible top boot cover- snap orientati
robert,i also have a bj7 and ive gone through this process,if you dont have your car in a very well heated area id wait until summer rolls around before attemting to stretch this material into position, makes a "big" difference!
Robert, the interior side panels have holes already in them including the upright ends, you'll have to feel around for them. The remaining one's are on the sheet metal. The two on top of the seat back are as John shows.
