:shocked: Judging from those prices, it would seem that my 'toy' is really one of our best investments. Of course, in order to reap the benefits that would mean selling Agatha - NOT. It is my/our philosophy that if you have a toy that if you ran onto hard times you could sell and at least get your money back - well, that's a good thing. In this case I/we just got lucky!

Yes it would appear that sports car prices are holding up quite well. In addition to the Healey's there was a 76 Spitfire go for $14,000 and a Jag XK150 ots for $110,000+. I have seen Porsche 356 prices higher than you can imagine also. Seems we are doing much better than muscle cars these days.

But overall, these Healey's were nothing special like the Mustang, half of them were not painted their correct color and still brought decent money. Overall the sales were down, as to be expected. There was a few off the wall ones, like the '70 Olds 442 that brought $173,000!!! I like the way Barrett-Jackson handles the Healey's, they spend a little more time on them this round. Still some good prices for basic Healey's with nice restorations.

keoke, that price for an american "muscle car" now ah days was an exception, in general the britt. sports cars are more then holding their own!, two weeks ago all the muscle cars sold for as low as 60%-70% of what theyd been going for just a year ago, im just very sorry i sold both my 356 b's so early, not only are they holding their price but going way out-ah sight.
