Just getting back on the road with my TR after rear pinion seal RR - shifting from 1 to 2 is sometimes difficult and from 2 to 3 grinds a bit - new clutch - throw out, Pressure plate, disc, with correctly mounted slave - so engagement is not an issue and I had the flywheel resurfaced and replaced center bearing. Down shifting same difficulty to 2 from 3 with need to double clutch to get it to drop in - I am guessing the syncros are worn on 3rd - but the upshift to 2 is confusing. Oil in tranny is TRF 80-90 wt gl3. would like comments on others experiences. Thinking that a rebuild is necessary or a swap to a 5 speed box.
