62 Midget w/Right Side Steering

The ad states 72 MG Midget but appears to be a 62. Project car with no engine, trans or seats but appears to be complete otherwise and at $300.00 the price seems right. I don't know the car or seller and it is located in the Long Beach California area. Check it out:

If it looks as nice as the picture then - no it's just way to far away for me - but wow my 1098 and ribcase sure would make that a driver.

LOL - I had the same thought for my 948 and trans but just no room, grrrrr! I even have red seats from my BE project too. I didn't think about that the title could say 72 as we all know, these little cars can be registered in some very interesting ways.

Only $1000 to ship it to Alabama and I have an extra 1275-ribcase and an extra 1098-ribcase! Those pictures sure are tempting!

Having owned a RHD car I can attest to the fact that it adds a whole new dimmention to driving! You need a passenger to tell you if its safe to pass!!

Well, the registration is 1963 so I guess it's a 62 model.

Our Elan is RHD, and with small cars, particularly top-down, you really don't notice you're on the wrong side of the road.

On the other hand, I remember when we lived in France I drove a LHD Chrysler Van across to England, and that wasn't so easy!

I imagine a LHD van in europe would be a challenge!! Viewing oncoming traffic by crowding the shoulder used to work! If you sit a really young kid in the passenger seat you get a lot of double takes!!

Is France LHD? Never got the opportunity to go east across the water, but my uncle sam helped me go west!

France drives on the right, the UK on the left. Like American cars, most French cars are LHD; most British cars are RHD.
