Ijust went through all the photos (23, I think), and have determined to my own satisfaction that the only thing wrong in the process was there was one too many zeroes in the sales price.

From what I see and read, $2800 looks to be right.
 
I was chasing an 67 XKE roadster out of Nashville just a couple of months ago. Finally got in contact with the owner. He had just sent the car to AZ. He paid somebody out there $1800 to pick the car up and also signed a contract that he would also paid the guy $8000 commission when the car sold. Didn't ask the name of the person in AZ but it sounds like the same guy. Car was pretty solid but not drivable, regency red color. If anyone hears of it be careful.
