Reminds me of the picture I have seen many times of a BMW "batmobile" coupe
with all wheels off the ground coming over a hill like this Nasty Boy ! Cool !!!

Landing was fine but problem was it's summer in England so it had been raining. The aero engined monsters (BMW-La France, Napier-Bentley and Packard-Bentley)had just been round the circuit and although they allegedly don't drop oil, they certainly leave a suggestion of it behind. The finish line is just 300 yards away and you have to floor the throttle to make up time for the inevitable slow down at the bridge. In the eight runs I got over the weekend twice I went through the finish nearly sideways and one guy did it backwards
As there has been some interest I finally got my videos uploaded so enjoy or not!
From Cholmondeley Pageant of Power 2011.
The videos are uncut because I was too lazy to edit them and it took nearly a week to get them uploaded with multiple failures. There are up to 14 minutes of waiting and relative inaction for only 1 minute of gut-wrenching, heart-pounding and adrenaline-pumping sheer terror of trying not to stuff the car. Frequently there can be seen a short, fat man in a red suit. Do not be fooled; he is not a clean shaven Santa Claus and neither is he very jolly, as whatever other gifts he had, the talent for designing weatherproof cars eluded Mr. Healey. The impression given to the spectators on return to the 'sheds' (tents) after wet runs was that of 'Captain Incontinence' at the height of his superpowers.
