As many of you are aware it has been really ,really cold around the country. And anyone familiar with the cold knows, when the temp drops so does the humidity. With a drop of humidity comes the act of shocking anyone or thing you touch. Now as Seattle doesn't have a humidity problem high or low, most homes don't have Humidifiers in them (cept the California transplant).
Here's the point of this. My daughter's bed sheets are a flannel like product, real conductive for static. Yesterday morning sliding out of bed to turn her alarm off she friend the clock. No radio, no time on the leds, just the light that shines the time to the ceiling.
That must have hurt!
