I pout my boat up for sale and recieved four serious replys in less than an hour. I got one in just minutes after posting it. Granted, I'm sellin the whiole rig for the price of the motor alone but still. I wish I had 10 of 'em.

I figured with a bad economy to price it low, WOW !

Wow - I thought you were talking about your posts on this forum. - now that would be rare!

I think if somoene tool me serious here it would be a miracle.

Isn't that the 8th sign? :jester:

Ya know...........

the best 2 days of a boat owners life is..........

The day he buys it and

the day he sells it!

Put something up for a reasonable-to-low price and it'll sell, even in this economy.

Apparently too low.
Not necessarily. You priced it at a value that seemed reasonable to you. You got that value, and quickly. Seems like a win to me. Selling price and time-on-market *both* have value -- sacrifice one to get the other.

If you priced it higher, you might not get a sale or it might take weeks to find a buyer. Me, I'm a fan of getting things sold and out the door quickly. You can fret about possible higher income, or just move along with one more thing out of your life. There's value in that alone.

Bam, gone! First guy that showed up. Quick on the draw and cash in hand. It took like maybe five minutes and he's heading down the driveway with it. CL strikes again. Same thing happened when I sold one of my sailboats.
