In a previous post, I was lamenting that I could not find the wire for my emergency brake failure light. Weellll, I called the manufacturer, British Wiring (bought the harness from The Roadster Factory five years ago)and described my dilemma. Now, the guys that own British Wiring are really, really nice, Ed and his wife Lindsey. He disputed my premise that maybe there was a mistake made in the manufacture of this harness (I think they are made in England). So he pulled a new one off the shelf and lo and behold, the darn wire is missing indeed! I was right! So for those of you that have a brake failure warning light in your dash, there should be a white and black/purple wire to the holder and goes from the ignition to the PDWA switch. Not a white (hot) and black (ground) wire that would make it burn all the time. This would be for 73-74, CF 1-10,000?
All I have to do is run a wire from the PDWA to this light and replace the ground wire. Geez, I never had a brake warning light, and never really cared. That's the scary part.

I love it when that happens - congratulations!

Are they going to give you a "finder's fee" for discovering the problem and letting 'em know?
