I have to admit, I like driving the MGB with the top up, windows down, back window zipped down. Breeze and some shade, and my wife will ride with me.

So you won't think I'm totally absorbed with the Bugeye acquisition process, here's a shot from a drive earlier this week.

Back when I had my TR4A (before 1970), I usually drove it with the top up, in part because I drove it year round in Philadelphia weather. Whenever I put the top down, I had to put it up pretty soon afterward, and it was complicated. So, mostly I just left it up. I was perfectly happy that way.

Here in Central FL, summertime is top-up, at least during the day. The summer heat will cook you and the daily thunderstorms hit pretty fast.

OTOH, from November thur April is a good time to go topless.

I drive with the hard top on in Florida summer. Save the soft one for "winter".

First you have to be able to admit a problem before you can address it. Seems like, you've admitted it, now you can seek counseling and soon you will be able to drive with the top down...:chuncky:
