Elliot , your not that old
Trains are probably from '59 or '60.

I've got all my Uncles Lionel, plus the stuff I collected and ran, restored my Dad's Lionel for my Brother, have all the old Family H0, plus stuff I've collected, including embossed cardboard boxcars from the late 30's. Have 1500' of track in the backyard, of the scale and gauge as shown in the video (that's an old LGB "Stainz" locomotive).

I have 30's and 40's Lionel trains, cars, draw bridge, etc. Any interest

Mine are from 1950 to 1965. "Santa Fe" and older.

Plastic or pot metal?

a good mix of both.

Mine are all stamped metal cars and cast steel engines, prewar stuff. Engine are really heavy.
