They DO, they DO ! I think that is where Keoke was going.

Ya know, a guy could bore a hole in the hood and use a magnifying prism to see it from the drivers seat.

In that vein, I have always wondered WHY guys put a fuel pressure guage on their fuel lines and put it UNDER the hood. It is easy to see what the pressure is at an idle, but what is it at speed ?

I fell into that trap too. Here's mine... Under the hood !

I guess it is safer than running a pressurized line with a gauge on the end into the cockpit.

That is sooooo low tech. Antique, I think he called it. To make Keoke happy, I may have to put a low pressure transducer on the fuel line with wires (or maybe WiFi) leading to a scaled d'Arsonval gauge or digital readout on the dash :thumbsup:

Oh, I AM building a real-time digital fuel/air ratio meter that will keep tabs on what my 4 HD-8s are doing. Keoke, that'll be electronic. :laugh:

d'Arsonval gauges, low pressure transducers, digital fuel/air ratio meters...... Are you guys driving Healeys, or are you working on the next space shuttle? Why do I always feel like I've just fallen off the turnip truck?

I love it ! Just be sure to blow a paint silouette of your hand and fingers on the wall too. 5,000 years from now, that'll have'em scratchin' their haids about your self-awareness and your "artistic motovation".
