XKE series II S/Z carbs hot start woes

My new engine will not start when hot. Fuel pressue is OK. New coil... manual control of electric pump.... good spark from coil. Any hints. Runs fine after it gets moving.

Float level correct? Will it start if you hold your foot down and crank it? Seems like the ethanol fuel really does not like high underhood temps, especially with a heat soak situation. What kind of fuel pump, and what is the pressure?
