My floor replacements will be finished soon. What covers them? I am concerned about water/moisture traps?

The originals where covered with an adheasive backed sournd deadner/stiffner type material...similar to MGB's etc of the same era. It did not cover the whole area, just the "low" spots of the pressing.
You could use Dynamat, I would think?
