XKE S2 - Brake Reservoirs

I found that one of the reservoirs has a hairline crack in it above the Level mark.
I have read that the quality of the new replacement units leaves a lot to be desired so do repairs if possible. Has anyone had any luck super gluing one of these cracks?
 
I have used a couple of the newer "SOVY" brand units in the past few years without complaint. SNG Barratt owns the brand now FWIW, but they seem OK to me. Gluing a plastic reservoir that holds brake fluid just seems like an exercise in frustration to me. If you really don't like the new stuff, track down used good ones. Fred Petroske has some Etype stuff Stefan Roundy in Virginia does when he is in the country, and no doubt there are others.
 
Glue will not endure brake fluid. Besides would you want your brakes contaminated by the glue? My father-in -law ( my he rest in peace ) blew a timing gear set in his old Mustang. This guy was an avid gluer. I pulled the cover and removed the original cam gear ( plastic teeth ) and gave him the pieces. I put in new full metal gears and resealed it and had it running before he could get the glue to hold on the old one. He thought it would be a fix until he dropped it. He picked up the pieces and threw it away and never came around again while I repaired his cars.
 
I have since learned that maybe the quality of the new ones is not as bad as first mentioned on another forum. New ones now on the way from SNG.
