Hi all

My husband wanted me to ask if anyone here knows where he can find some parts catalogs for our XKE like we have for our Triumph from Victoria British, Roadster Factory, Moss and Spitbits ?

Thanks for any help

Try XKS Unlimited, Moss Motors, Terry's Jaguar of Benton, Il, your local Jag dealer is a source for Heritage parts, not always more expensive, and Engel Imports, MI., Special Interest Car Parts of Rhode Is., and Bassets. If you get a copy of Hemmings it also has a good resource for parts suppliers and catalogs.

I remember from when I had my Jag in the UK, that Jaguar cars reduced the prices on parts for older cars, under the rationale that they would rather move the parts than have them gather dust on the shelf. Good policy in my view.

So by all means, check out your Jaguar dealer for certain parts, you may be very pleasantly surprised!

Jaguar had to lower prices to be a Heritage Parts dealer and sponser, I use them quite a bit. The oil filters for XJ6 and S were $2.00 cheaper each than I could get anywhere else.

Hi CCM,

One vendor I did not see mentioned is SNG Barratt. They are the largest independent Jaguar spares supplier in the world. Their catalog is available online in sections in PDF format along with the price list. One caution: the prices are in British Pounds. The exchange rate currently is 1.8 USD / 1 BP. They have sales and warehousing in the states and can usually ship the day of the order.I have been using them extensively for body and suspension parts and have been very happy with their service. They are located at sngbarratt.com.

I'll second that! I recently received their catelog and it is great! In fact, when I recently needed a small, obscure "friction" washer for my hand brake operating mechanism, every vendor I called said it was not available and that I'd have to buy a used assembly complete. SNG Barratt had the part! (For $1.89). I suspect I will be doing a lot of business with them as I restore my E Type.
