Greetings, Hoping someone has a fix for my issue. I have a 69 series 2, 2+2 that I am working on. Recently installed the brakes to include a new (rebuilt) servo and a new check valve at the vacuum tank. This work was done about 6 months ago and the complete system worked just as it should. No road trips, just moving the car around as the restoration continues. Brake fluid remains at proper levels and all vacuum lines are in there proper locations.
ISSUE: I started the car to move it this week and the brake system was locked up. I investigated all lines and found no failures. I removed the plastic end of the master cylinder and checked the diaphragm and plastic plunger, all good.
So each time I release the pressure by disconnecting the vacuum and reattach the lines, same lock up condition. If I disconnect the vacuum, brakes work (without obvious assist)
I hope this explains the issue and what I have done thus far.
Thanks for any suggestions.
