I just watched a show where they show assembly of the XK8. I gotta get one of those, one of these days.

Does any one know a good buyer's guide (book or web site) that covers all of the features and pitfalls of buying one?
Thanks

Lynn, I just got mine on January 2, a 2000 XK8 convertible. If you go the the Jag Lovers Forum and click on XK8 you can get a load of information on what to look for, and there are a few things that will brake the bank if you are not careful. If you want to call, or I will call you, give me a PM.

Buy the nicest lowest mileage one you can afford. Our current one is the third we have had over the years.

Whatever you get, make sure the plastic timing chain tensioners have been upgraded with metal ones. Lots of them also had window regulator failures and the XK8 convertibles had hydro fluid leaks at the top of the windshield.
