XK8 Lug Nuts

I was just wondering if the Lug Nuts on our `99 XK8 have caps or not...they look and feel like caps but I am not sure....Also if they are caps do I have to remove them before removing the nuts???I know this is an easy question but it's been bugging me for awhile.
