XK8 Convertible

I heard about this forum on the c5forum from JB. Nice place you have here Cy! I thought I'd post my message here also:

Anyone on the forum own or have any experience with the XK8 convertible? I'm thinking about buying one for the wifey for her birthday, but haven't heard much about their quality or performance. Certainly, they have beautiful styling ques, but it seems kinda pokey for a 290hp car

Last birthday we traded in her 2000 GT convertible for a Volvo S80...blah

The Volvo is a well refined car, but too boring for me, um, I mean her

Feedback and thoughts greatly appreciated...oh and pics too if anyone owns one

I can say having driven the Xk8 convertable and owned a XK8 Coupe ,you will enjoy the ride, the power ,the attention it brings and the feeling when sat in the ****pit.
The only downside willbe the "small space behind the front seats2 where the rear seats are. There is very little space except for a small child. Other than that go for it!!!!
