As I've mentioned here before I bought a battery maintainer for my XK8 due to the fact that it doesn't see much winter use anymore. The maintainer charges through the cigarette lighter so in order to operate the ignition has to be left on the accessories function. I wasn't comfortable with this so I have been turning it on and off once and awhile. But not I am starting to wonder if by leaving it on whether or not it could do any harm. Anythoughts?
