XK 140 Clutch Pedal Shaft

My XK140 has the mechanical clutch setup. The pedal has a lot of wobble in it. There appears that where the shaft goes through the frame, there is nothing to keep that shaft from moving inside the inside the hole. I'm wondering if there is something missing? mac
 
maybe a bushing?
