xjs gearbox jerk

There really shouldn't be much of a jerk. While a fluid change may be in order, I suspect that the problem may be the transmission mount.

/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/iagree.gif Check the transmission mounts AND the motor mounts.

What speed is it idleing at? Should be 750 to 800 warm in drive. Also, check that all of the driveshaft to flange bolts are tight. If they are loose (common) it will clang when shifting.
