The Wanaka Transport Museum in New Zealand claims to have a World War I Rover Sunbeam Ambulance. Was there an affiliation between Rover and Sunbeam in the pre-Rootes days, or was this a war-time project only?
 
I don't think so, but who knows? If I run across anything while doing research for the restoration of my Bentley TVR ice cream truck, I'll let you know.

The only affiliation I've read about for Sunbeam back then was S-T-D, which was Sunbeam-Talbot-Darraq.
