Wow, are they proud of this one

May be that 165,000 should read 16,500. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gifEven that is pushing it a litle too far.

thats gotta be a misprint....one to many zeros..

Nah! Platinum wheels, genuine silver grill, real jewels in the instruments, all titanium suspension bits etc., etc., you know, these things add up!!!

Yep, misprint. Go to the web site for Golden Classics and the car is $16,500 with sale pending. Still seems pretty steep on the price!

Tim

Even at $16,500 that sounds high but it is for sale at a dealer. Antique & classic car dealer prices seem to be higher than the norm.

If I'am correct Barrett-Jackson sold a Bugeye for around that same price on a show not that long ago,I guess it make our cars worth all that much more!!!!

Not sure about that one, but a nicely restored one is worth that. Or at least that seems to be the asking price.

Rust-free, Florida car?

It'll soon be on e-bay with a buy-it-now price of $1650.... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/devilgrin.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

I have seen that someplace before, see the script in paint above the sprite script on the rear.

You've seen it on eBay before and not too long ago. I usually "watch" those auctions just to see if they sell, and if so, for how much.

You guys have a great day!

Tim

I guess the Healey signature is what makes the price eh! Must be Donald Jr. though. That red, nice as it looks, certainly is not an original color!

Ps I never understood that "rust-free Florida car" thing. Do you guys know how humid it gets down here? You have to have AC in the garage or you can almost watch the rust materialize if you're not careful and let it start!!!
