Would You Live In One Of These?

I'm dizzy enuff with just th' planetary rotation to contend with. Havin' my bedroom window offer a diferent view every mornin' would have me paranoid, as well. :jester:

I wonder if you would get sea sick on a windy day or possibly have to strap yourself in as not to get plastered on the outside walls due to the centrifugal force?

Kinda screws up all the fung shui or however it's spelt.

Have you ever had dinner in the Seattle Space Needle? I loved the rotation.

The Needle has a restaurant in it?

The Calgary Tower (well... here where I live) rotates around, I believe it takes about one hour to go around once, the rotation is so slow that you don't physically feel the movement, so I imagine that living in it wouldn't be all that bad, in terms of the movement...

Ummmmmmmmmmmmm if you go to the space needle to have dinner don`t do what I did. And that was I sat my camera down on the window sill. Needless to say when dinner was done ....... NO CAMERA  . I did manage to retrieve it but it was half way around and starting it`s journey back to where we were sitting. Luckily the occupants of the booth where I spotted my camera were honest enough to hand it to me and yes they were laughing too.

LOL

Now that's a classic story! Although I do wonder how many people have done the same thing...

Ate in the stratosphere restaurant in Las Vegas. Went to the restroom and couldn't find my table... golly, gee....

54 bucks for an 8 oz fillet of beef? 52 bucks for a NY strip? That doesn't impress me one bit! They don't even have veal parm on the menu! Two can dine at Greg Normans Australian Grill at the beach for that and Greg Normans is not a cheap place to eat. You get great atmosphere, overlooking the water, set in plush valor chairs, formal table settings, have a fabulous menu, eat exotic foods if you so desire and leave so stuffed, you won't want to eat for the next couple of days. all for about 60 bucks for two. Sounds like the prices in the north west are getting as bad as Paris. London's prices aren't that bad either.

Geesh!

You know what? I never thought of that! Good point Greg!

Paul- That's why the citizens don't eat there.
