Would have been a great day for a midget ride.

But mine is all loaded on the trailer. I decided to take my little motorcycle for a ride on the parkway and took a few pictures. Would be nice to take a ride along tour with spridgets up here some time. Temp is around 80 at home but goes down as you climb the hills and the speed limit is 45 and plenty of pullouts to look off. Here is some pics from today's ride.

Nice roads!

Was a great day here as well, but all of my toys are broken. :frown:

Tunebug's in bits, Bonneville is at the dealer with a brake leak, and the S90 is leaking lots of oil. Bummer...

I agree, this was a perfect weekend in MI for a Spridget...unfortunately, mine is still out of commission. Rear axle not in yet. Got the springs back on today though! 1 more brake line to bend/flare, and then it'll be going back in.

Nice, scenic area Kim!

Well mines not broken or loaded on a trailer or otherwise incapacitated, I drove around today in nice upper 80's weather and plan on doing it again tomorrow. So there!

Yeah... I guess the majestic beauty of God's creation is all right. I mean... if that's all you got.

The really great part about it is that most places you can just pull over at a pull off and see everything without getting out of your spridget. Just a few more miles up is the highest elevation for a road on the BRPW and the views are good. The other direction from here on the parkway is Mount Mitchell, highest point east of the Mississippi. If its a hot day, you can go up there and freeze.

Thanks for the pics, Kim. Janet and I have a couple acres near Sevierville. Back of the look overlooks a valley and English Mountain in the distance. Can't wait 'til we're able to begin building our retirement home!

In the meantime, we're able to drive over in either the MGB or the TR8 and enjoy all the roads in the area.

Tail of the Dragon, anyone?

Mine's still out of commision without a driveshaft. My wife even wanted to take it out for a spin. I've been on Tail Of The Dragon a couple of times in the Audi A6. It's a dangerous road. I won't take Midgie up there until she's had the transmission and suspension rebuilt.

I just heard last week that the tail is now staked out pretty regularly by the police and they are writing butt loads of tickets. Not a road to be speeding on now.
