If everyone would add there car type and year and such to their sig.

Go to My Home, and is a space to type it in under Personal info.

This would sure help get the right answer.

Excellent suggestion, Jack!

Numerous times I've started to answer something only to question in my mind if my answer is applicable to the model, engine, trans, etc... So the answer goes uncompleted and more importantly, unsent.

The above is especially true when there are several "newer" people to the LBC world posting questions! Which car does "xxxxx" have? What about "yyyy"? Am I contributing a valid answer? Or adding to potential misinformation and therefore, confusion?

Could also enter car data in the user profile so one could click on the user ID to the left of the actual message and see the applicable information. Would suggest that if one does not want car data posted in each message, as in a message "signature."

Another good idea would be, when asking a question, be specific as to what you are working on. Although the questioners profile information may show a '72 Midget, the question could be related to a '28 Moon.
