Worth Something Somewhere else

Wow. I wonder if this is generally true across the board.

The price is less in US dollars -- $28,497.

$37,992 Canadian (welcome to my world)

Everything is expensive in OZ cause it all has to be shipped.

Still, it can't cost more than $2-3K to ship a car there from the States, no?

Lew,[lewmac] is shipping his Sprite down there right now. Maybe we can get the lowdown on costs. Course US cars will likely take a hit cause the steering wheel and dash are wrong. On the other hand, I have relatives in NZ and Japanese cars like used Miata's are cheap there.

Sure is pretty in that color -- same color as my '69 Sprite. Even as magnificent as the restoration appears to be, that's about double what we've seen the top end of the market for the square Sprites and Midgets.
