I just got my gas tank back from cleaning and the shop showed me what looks line a 3 inch worm curled up and encrusted on the bottom of the tank. Poking it with a metal rod did not seem to dislodge it so I'm wondering if it is some British artifact. I'll try to get a picture of it.

SHOOPAL,
I have not heard of any museums that collect or display such artifacts. I am sure that many of us have discovered such priceless gems.
Maybe a previous owner ran out of gas and poured in some of the Mexican beer/ drink that has the worm in it.
Just keep smiling.:fat:

Given how easy it is to drop something into a gas tank, and the difficulty of getting it out again, I'm surprised that people don't find more strange objects in tanks when they are removed for service.

Offspring of the worm gear?

Hi George
I managed to finally scrape it out. Looked like a dead worm all right. No repair, clean under it.
Glad to give some opportunity for humor.
I thought about the tequila joke but I couldn't figure out how to get it in.

Cannot help with the worm, but here is a mouse that did not get out of the way in time when the choke was pulled on a tr3. That hard pulling choke is good for something. My dad’s friend always told me to invent a better mouse trap and get rich!
