Lots of before and after photos pls.

I'm thinking about just leaving my digital camera at the shop with John.

Boy, I'm STOKED! Yea! June 18th is still a possibility now!!!

heh... you said "stoked" ... I don't think I've heard anyone (besides myself) use that word since ... uhm... oh yeah, that's it! the 80's! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/jester.gif

Gnarley!!!!!!!! Duuuuude!!!!!!!

My painter isn't thrilled with our color choice. He emailed me back and said "I'll have the camera ready, you have the checkbook ready. But really, ____________?????"

Then emailed again with color suggestions. I'm going to hurt him. Bronze yellow, sandy beige, mirage???

~thumps the painter upside the head~

*whew* at least it wasn't me this time!

Janel, If you have a copy of The Orignal MGB, the first few pages have some interesting colors. The very first page shows a GT in Mirage. I'm not so sure how it woud look with red top & interior, grey might look good. Then on page 8, there is a Sandy Beige that would look good with red. On page 11, there is a Bronze Yellow one the POPS! Although I'm not sure what color for an interior, maybe a tan. On page 12, there is a Black Tulip and the Mirage GT. The Black Tulip originally came with a puke yellow interior but, a roadster would look good with grey top & interior.
Just some thoughts. If you don't have the book, I'll loan it to Chuck tonight.
John

Ah, you must have decided on the Dove Grey /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/jester.gif I got the same reaction when I said I was considering a grey color for Chance, after I had spent months trying to find the right blue.

/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif Seeing Sly last night made you flashback, didn't it?

heh... thought JB was talking to herself again... until I got to the end of her post. At which point, I decided it was a copy and paste from the painter's email... heh

boy, it sure helps to read everything... sometimes /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/jester.gif

Stay away from the red acid dots!!!!!!!

citron... from yer mood... it wasn't you're first choice?

if it helps any, my car USE to be Citron in color... one of the DPOs had it factobaked white.... after a wreck it would seem too...

~bangs head repeatedly on desk~

Color's the most important thing. It's what 100% of the people see. Not the interior, not the engine bay, the color.

WHY is it so difficult?

~sniff sniff~

well, I've seen OEW with tan top and interrior. Very nice looking car, and the color combo is understated, which I like very much. After that, I think my favorites are gray, black, and BRG.

On the other hand candy apple red is always a crowd pleaser. You could get a 1x6 board and cut it into the shape of a popsicle stick and stick it in the car for shows... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
