Hey guys
I absolutely had the time of my life today (and it involved neither Disneyland nor alien abduction!). We went to Prairieville, LA and got to meet Gerry Masterman and his wife, and pick up the vehicle he had offered to me.
The roadster we picked up was absolutely fantastic. It has some work ahead of it, but it is in incredible condition. No rust anywhere as far we can tell. The floors and sills seem to be rock solid, and the fit and finish on the body panels is amazing. I took TONS of pictures.
I truely want to thank Gerry for giving me this wonderful gift. I certainly appreciate what he has done for me, and I certainly hope that I am able to repay him in kind down the road.
I really also want to thank everyone on this board. Recently, we've been able to see prime examples of how close-knit our family is. I truly feel as though not only have you all made me a more knowledgeable person about MGs, but really reinforces the fact that good people still exist in the world. I just hope I can one day contribute to y'all what I've been able to glean from you all.
Let me get off my soapbox here, but once again, thank you so much Gerry. I really do appreciate it.
