Yahoo! I just hope that isn't the money that I am transferring for the widow of a prince, also in Nigeria, that needs a U.S. citizen to withdraw the money! She has graciously promised me 25% of the proceeds. All I need to supply is my "banking specifics"! What a bargain!

On a serious note here, last year my husband's nephew (no blood of mine!!) called me. Hysterically excited. Had gotten one of the Nigerian scam emails. After an hour on the phone with him, I still wasn't sure I'd convinced him NOT to reply to it.
 
Yeah. I am in the tech industry, and you would be surprised what some people do under the believe that it is on the "up and up", or do to their PCs, or not do in the case of protective applications.

not at all! judging by your ability to describe your HD issues, you are an expert compared to the amoebas that I have to deal with some times, though I get paid to know this stuff, and they do not. Guess it is all relative.
 
I got the same Email offer too. I simply replied that my firm had just purchased that country,and that they were to vacate the premises within 24 hrs.
