Does it make me a bad MG owner to want to install one of those wood veneer dashboard conversion kits from Moss Motors in my 1980? I know it is probably just wrong; and that I may need an intervention, but Lord help me: I'm just a sucker for the look of a wood dash panel.

Your car, your choice.

One of the things that peeves me (peeve is likely too strong a word) is going to British Car Day (largest single day British Car show in North America - 1000+ cars) Is going to British Car day and other than colour, the 75th B (or TR6 or Midget or Spit) looks exactly like the first.

besides over half a million of them were made - it's not like you are customizing a Bugatti. Go for it! Have some fun and make it yours.
