Just got back from the Conclave Gymkhana/Autocross. It was a sort uncomplicated track, but there was plenty of shade. It was great to listen/watch the Healey's all morning. I was one of the first to run and I think had the FTD (with my cheater supercharger)

I'll have pictures and a few videos a bit later after the event wraps up. We still have 3 more days of Healey Fun! I thought about mounting a video camera in my car for the Gymkhana run, but the course was not that interesting and my driving skills stink. I did however film a few other cars running. And I know that someone did a ride along in "Grace" (the Drive Away Cancer car) with a video camera.

How many little Healeys showed up, Trevor???

Hope you can show those "heavy" Healeys a thing or two!!

There's about 27 Sprites here. Yes, they did well in the Autocross. I think the next fastest time was a Sprite with a hot 1275 and LSD. But overall the stock sprites did MUCH better than the stock big Healey's.

Just got back from the popular vote car show. It was HOT. But everyone seemed to have a good time (usual complaints ... too dusty, too wet, too shady, too sunny, too many cars in my class, not enough cars in my class... ). Once you learn to avoid the complainers life is good.

Sounds like a good time! Hot in So Dak as well only not as much fun!! No AC in my shop!

Kurt.

Ahh...that's how it starts.

Soon you'll be throwing away all excess weight (like the heater and the radio)....
Then there's the need for a trailer and the truck....

It can become an addiction (ask me how I know).

Anyway, Congrats!

Let us not forget those wheels and tires!

Looks like it was a lot of fun. The pic links are
really cool.
Wish I could have made it. Sigh....maybe next year.
