Thank you for your concern, but the wind isn't even strong enough (here on the Gulf Coast side) to knock over my garbage can (

). The biggest affect it's had on me so far, was instead of putting the trash and recyclables out last night, I waited until this morning!
Even on the Atlantic coast, I think Florida has been lucky so far, as the "eye wall" has remained offshore, limiting the wind damage (there are trees down along the path, and last I heard, about 250,000 people without electricity). They're not even sure if it will actually make "landfall" in Florida.
The threat from the storm surge__high water pushed ashore from the counter-clockwise rotation of the storm__is still very real, and the culmination of the bowl area where FL, GA & SC come together is still uncertain. The prediction is up to an eleven foot (11') wall of water being pushed ashore.
I'm good here, as well as the rest of the west coast of Florida, and even everything south of Miami dodged this one, but keep those NE Floridians, Georgians and South Carolinians in your prayers.
Again, my thanks
