A group of good samaritans rain to th said of a woman having a medical episode (undisclosed).

I had an almost identical experience several years ago. I was driving back to work from lunch, north on Louisianna Blvd, a 4 lane road, when I spotted a car coming towards me in my lane, going very slow (thank goodness).

I managed to get around her car, got stopped, then ran back to the elderly woman's car and reached in and turned off the engine and got the car stopped. At this point, several others came to aid and some of them blocked the lane she was in with their cars withemergency flashers. We didn't move the car, we just had people directing cars around her.

The Paramedics arrived and got her in an ambulance in a gas station parking lot nearby. Turns out she was a diabetic.
