I drove out to the Wichita Mountain Wildlife Refuge today. I took many photos at a small lake called Treasure Lake but these were my favorite ones. Tiny blue dragon flies, or maybe damsel flies, a mountain boomer, and a cactus. After a very wet start to the summer, we have returned to near drought like conditions this past month or so, and you can see in the last photo just how low the lake is.
