I let my buddy drive my Spitfire the other evening, and this was the video he brought me back! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mad.gif

Yes, the speedo is about pegged at 85mph but at least its not near the redline thanks to the Overdrive.

Actually he was following me, and you can get a glance of myself up ahead in the B.

I do not condone speeding or high speed driving, but my cars are well sorted with new uprated suspensions tires and brakes, and this is just a great country road without much traffic. I am not promoting irresponcibility and/or reckless behavior, but you haven't lived till you have done 85 plus in a little Triumph Spitfire that will handle and run, on the proper road.

I knew he had his digital camera but did not know that he was taking small movies while we were cruising.

hope you enjoy this very short video, click on it and it should play.

Your Spit sounds nice and relaxed cruising at that speed.
I wish my 6 turned only 4k at 85 mph! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbsup.gif

Your "friend" is driving YOUR car at 85mph with a camera in one hand trying to film it? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif
